Use social media to join the conversation surrounding refugees and immigration in Canada and generate awareness for MIIC.
INSIGHT
With increased media attention, public awareness, and government funding, it was time for MIIC to get social. We developed unique strategies for each platform, crafted a consistent voice, and established a robust posting schedule and content plan. Feeds serve as a resource for newcomers, and allow the general public insight into the work that MIIC does.
RESULTS
Over our year assisting MIIC in establishing their social media strategy, Facebook likes increased by over 170%, Twitter followers increased by over 804%, and the Instagram account was established from zero.
